Learn to fix your bike at the Moonrakers' Educafe

Monday 20th July 2026, 10:30-12:00. Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre, Cocklebury Road, Chippenham.

Learn maintenance tips and basic repair skills with Cycle Chippenham and the Big Bike Revival at the Moonrakers' Educafe.

Learn to:

• Replace an inner tube (in the event of a puncture)

• Pump up a tyre

• Remove and replace a wheel

• Carry spares to enable these to happen (pump, spare inner tube, spanner if necessary)

• Repair a puncture (back home)

• Adjust brakes to take account of wear

• Adjust gears to take account of cable stretch

• Oil chain

Bring your own bike to practise on, or simply watch the demonstration.
